The Design Process
It is our belief that a methodic design process is the right way
to complete a project successfully. Each project is
comprised of the following stages:
Stage 1 - Conceptual Design
This is probably the most important stage. In this stage we learn
our customer’s needs and their design objectives, and propose several different creative solutions. Together with the client we decide which solutions will be further developed in the next stage.
Stage 2 - Prototype Design
In this stage we complete a detailed 3D design for prototype manufacturing. We use the most up-to-date
3D design, analysis and collaboration tools to achieve optimal utilization throughout the design process.
The suitable prototype technology (STL, CNC… etc.) is selected to create a prototype that looks and performs as closely as possible to the final product.
Stage 3 - Prototype Manufacturing
Over the years, we have established a network of
alliances and close business relationships with many industrial designers, prototype
manufacturers, mold manufacturers and molding companies.
This network allow us to select the most suitable
vendor for each task.
Stage 4 - Prototype Testing & Design
Fine-Tuning
In this stage the prototype is tested for ideal
performance and cost-effectiveness, and the design is
then fine-tuned based on the results. The prototype
may also be used by the client for commercial presentations, overseas marketing, case studies etc.
Stage 5 - Final Design
After implementing the design changes derived out
of the prototype testing, we finalize the design and
customize it to fit the most suitable production method
(Injection Molding, CNC ,etc). A complete design file including drawings,
3D files and production specifications is then given to the client
to be taken to production.
Stage 6 - Production Follow-Up
After completing the design, we support the client
throughout the production stages: finding the suitable
manufacturers, approving their design and assisting them to create the best production tools. We test the first samples and
provide feedback to the manufacturers on any improvement needed.
